ATT Uverse Tips

 

 

      I got it! Last week I finally got ATT Uverse, and I love it. The picture quality is much better than it was with my digital cable and my internet is twice as fast.  I get all this at a cheaper price.

 

Tips:

  My att uverse installer didn't setup my settop box for HD. I didn't know that anything had to be optioned, so I was really upset when I thought the quality of the HD signal was horrible. Then I stumbled across how to set it up for the HD signal. To set up your HD signal follow these steps.
       
       1. Hit Menu
       2. Scroll Over to Options
       3. Select System Settings
       4. Select Aspect Ratio
       5. Now select what capability your tv has 720p or 1080i
       6. Once this is all set and you save your options when you get back to a HD channel odds are it's still not going to look that good.
       7. So what you do now since you probably have a letter box type effect on your tv(your picture is surrounded by a black box). Take your controller the bottom bottom on the right hand side is a zoom/enter button press it until you get to the stretch option. That should clear up your trouble and give you the best picture for your tv.
